Especially the one from know testing links. Very silent, but is there when displaying specific content. Horizontal line, blacks turning in to grey. All of those known issues on some websites. Apparently blacks on VA, especially G7 meant to be much better than IPS. Blacks aren't so black in low brightness despite what reviews says. Hard to explain, easy to notice having both type of screens. Obviously nothing to do with PC/GPU, browser as my IPS screen doesn't have such a problem. When brightness is fairly low for a fark room, like 25% changing a tab on chrome/edge/brave there is a some sort of glitch in G7 backlight which increases it for a fraction of a second. Everything is dull on VA comparing to IPS. Browsing internet, running excel was just painful for my eyes.Įverything looks a bit better when refresh rate is changed down to 144Hz (is this screen just extremely overclocked 144Hz panel?) G7 due to its problems and the size of pixels just. My old Lenovo on default settings shows nice sharp edges in text. G7 is just rubbish when it comes to displaying any text. It feels just like a downgrade in quality, not the opposite. I could see pixels all over the place, especially when doing some work, browsing internet etc. ![]() What's so bad in G7, comparing to my old lenovo. ![]() Just a basic monitor with slightly higher refresh rate. Obviously I've installed latest firmware 1011.0 on G7, done factory reset, later on played with some settings.Ĭoming from Lenovo L27-q30. So today I've received Odyssey G7 32" and I'm well unimpressed.
